Publishing Agreement Key Points

Listed are some key details of the publishing agreement. Each are subject to change on a case-by-case basis. For more details feel free to reach out to us.

• We reserve an exclusive license of limited rights. We reserve the right to license out the play for use. We also require that you do not license the play yourself in any deal involving a transfer of money. You are allowed to create edits to your script and to change aspects of it.

• You are allowed to terminate the contract at any time. If any expenses have not been reimbursed through sales (for example, physical books; NOT time spent) you will be invoiced for the difference. Before making any purchases, they will be authorized by the playwright.

• If found in breach of contract, Pressure Cooker Press retains the right to terminate the contract.

• The profit from sales is split 80/20 in favor of the playwright.
