When you are accepted to publishing, there is still a long road until your work will receive any sort of payment. It is important to note that before a play is set for licensing, it should be performed several times. At Pressure Cooker Press, we will help pitch any accepted work to local American theaters. Once it has reached this point, it will be up for licensing.
We take the responsibility up until that point to promote and pitch the play. If you wish to do so as well, you are free to do so. The details of the situation will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.
This process will be legally solidified to ensure all parties' safety. It is important to note that the entire process is dynamic and a playwright will be well informed during the process.
